day of much goodness
Nov. 7th, 2003 11:36 pmSince it was lizzie's birthday, I blagged afternoon off work. Managed to mostly avoid network issue in the library at lunchtime, then had origins food with lizzie, rah, tiggs, chris, pete, stewart, tom, kim, and someone else I don't know. Went to work with lizzie to meet the kids she babysits, and me and pete got attacked by rebecca. Evil children ;)
Got a lift back to 58fr from typo, had a quick shower and got changed into smart-ish clothes (eep!) and then wandered down to 19b to meet lizzie, phil, and christine, then we went for a meal at the old weavers restaurant. Food was excellent (mmm, pie), company was better :)
Finished the evening watching a couple of MASH episodes with lizzie. All in all a fantastic day.
