Khaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

Edit:
The Sci-fi channel are running a star trek weekend, but have opted to skip Star Trek 5. Good call, I reckon.

5 should be removed from history for soo many reasons.

For example, deck 78? On a Constitution class? and numbered from bottom to top? Please....

Oh man, don't get me started. The great bird himself disowned Star Trek V, why should we be any different? Fortunately, it doesn't really affect the general Trek universe, and thanks to it Next Gen actually got the ability to have a decent shuttle model...

PS: Star Trek II was the first Trek film I ever saw or owned. It rocks, and I still think it's the best!

Damn right. ST2 also has the most awesome music.

Indeed. Must find that CD at some point. We also had ST 2 to thank for the Miranda class - where would the next 30 years have been without that idea?

Am very intrigued to see that the Miranda appears to have lasted (along with the various variants including the Soyuz) for about 100 years.

Some badass ship then

Indeed, tis a very versatile ship. Turned up in all the other series bar Enterprise I think - even that continuity cock up couldn't find a way to get the Miranda in
